Today was my Cousin Tutai's 21st birthday.
In most familys when someone has there 21st birthday that is the day that they get there key and it is a very big deal and that is why there is always tears in these kind of birthdays. In the Cook Island when someone recieves there key then that is when they get freedom for example: They get to stay home by themselves, they can go anywere whithout a parent or an adult, So it is basically freedom and the key means that theycan always go back home without any problems.
